On a crisp November morning in 2024, a group comprising a dozen or so men and women of all ages, race and class, gathered in the old ball room of Marston Manor. They were there to hear the reading of the last will and testament of businessman Jack Wright who two weeks previously, had (allegedly) shot himself in the chest.

So, the reading itself was brief – it took less than five minutes from start to finish – but its contents set in train a series of events that would take years to resolve.

‘I, Jack White’ is the story of those events – a family saga of secrets and lies, sex and betrayal, and the power of family to both nurture and destroy.
